Community Leadership: As a co-founder and 2x President of Utsav SAC, Adi has been an integral part of the non-profit's charitable, cultural and educational organization serving the Bengali community in the greater Sacramento area. The organization has grown five-fold since its inception in 2001.

Vision: Adi believes that no country can truly prosper without their women fully participating in the labor market. For that, they need financial and community support.

Dedicated to Service: Adi has been a long-time volunteer at the St. John's Shelter for Women in Sacramento, providing basic education in math and financial guidance to shelter residents. These women can count on getting the support and learning skills to get on their feet.

Solution-Oriented: There is a great need for the kind of support that EmpowerWIN will provide. It is not always obvious that someone needs help. They need to feel comfortable to approach someone in times of need. Adi embodies this type of person as a member of EmpowerWIN's team--people with the skills to recognize unspoken needs and be approachable.
