A Vision Rooted in Service: EmpowerWIN is the realization of my vision to create a meaningful support system for women in need within our community—building on the values of compassion, dignity and service that have guided me throughout my life.

25+ Years of Community Leadership: As a founder and longtime leader of Utsav, I have spent more than two decades bringing people together, building community, and leading volunteer-driven initiatives that create a positive impact in the Sacramento area.

Personally Connected to the Community: My deep and longstanding involvement with our community has allowed me to understand its needs firsthand and recognize where women and families may need additional support. My volunteer work with organizations serving vulnerable women and children has further strengthened this commitment.

A Physician's Perspective: My background as a pediatrician and years of caring for patients have taught me to listen carefully, recognize needs that may not always be visible, and approach each individual with compassion and respect. This experience gives me a unique perspective in identifying women who may benefit from EmpowerWIN and connecting them with appropriate support.
